#009: Chad Sonkin on moving cross country without a job, everyday inspiration, and building valuable relationships.

Chad Sonkin is one of a kind. If you have the pleasure of knowing him, you know. If you don’t, you’re about to get a taste why. Chad moved across the country to LA without having a job lined up to pursue his passion, and hasn’t looked back. He was one of the first 100 employees at the electric scooter startup, Bird, which was the fastest company to reach a valuation of $1billion ever. After being part of the 30% of the workforce to get laid off at the start of the pandemic, Chad hasn’t skipped a beat and now leads a sales team at Cloud Kitchens, the newest venture of the former CEO and co-founder of Uber.

We talk about winning the day, everyday inspiration, betting on yourself and turning obstacles into opportunities, building relationships, and how to play and win the game of life

Buckle up, here’s Chad Sonkin.
