In this episode, we interview the innovative eduator, Mr. Craig Podolski. Mr. "Podo" is a middle school English teacher in the Aptakisic-Tripp School District 102 located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Craig created an authentic opportunity for students to participate in service learning during the last day of school: Volunteer Day 2019. Students and teachers served one of the more than 15 different organizations. Students had the opportunity to learn, practice, and grow the skills outlined in D102's Portrait of a Graduate.
