During the month of March every year, the Iditarod sled dog race is run in Alaska from Willow to Nome and covers more than 1100 miles over 9-15 days or more depending on the team. 2016 will mark the 43rd year for the race and three-time Iditarod competitor, Blake Freking is with me today to talk about the incredible adventure sled dog racing is.
