Plus, this teen was swimming in Southern California when she was attacked and left with bruises and bites marks. But it wasn't a shark, it was a sea lion. It's the beginning of her new trial seven months after her first trial ended with a hung jury. This time around, cops have found a way to keep her supporters from causing a commotion. And we may finally have an answer to the mystery that has baffled the nation - how did the 14-year-old son of a former New York Yankees player die while on a family vacation in Costa Rica?  After talk of food poisoning and asphyxiation, it could be carbon monoxide poisoning. Plus, we’ve told you how a number of Tesla owners are returning their electric cars, unhappy with Elon Musk's close affiliation with President Trump. Now someone new is joining the trend. We've told you about all the attacks on Tesla’s, but this is one of the wildest yet. A woman claims another driver intentionally plowed into her Tesla, but she wasn't going to just watch her drive away. She gets out of her Tesla and blocks the other vehicle-- slamming on the hood and screaming until cops show up. And this guy is in the throes of a heart attack so deadly it's called the widow-maker. Thankfully, his wife was right there to call 911 leading to paramedics arriving quickly on the scene. Now they have a warning for everyone in their interview with our Ann Mercogliano. Plus, we’re seeing more intense video from that 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Thailand, including this -- a window washer hanging on for dear life as water from a rooftop pool comes cascading down around him. And it was a great weekend for the New York Yankees as the team hit 15 homers over three games-- tying a major league record. But some are pointing to the custom-made bats several of the sluggers were using to hit those balls. They were created by an MIT physics professor and are being called torpedo bats, but some say they should be torpedoed out of the MLB. It was supposed to be a tough-talking message from Homeland Security Chief, Kristi Noem, from inside El Salvador’s most notorious mega-prison. However,  it's the $50,000 Rolex on her wrist that ended up in the headlines. And imagine your wedding is just a few weeks away, and you end up being rushed to the hospital with a broken nose and other injuries. It happened to this bride-to-be who was enjoying her bachelorette weekend festivities until a stranger came up and sucker punched her right in the face.  She'll be ok, but as she tells Jim Moret, she's worried she won't heal before her big day. Plus, she was one of the first Latin singers to cross over into the mainstream music scene, then the world was shocked when Selena was shot and killed by the manager of her fan club when she was just 23. This week her murderer was up for parole, but it was denied - which is good news to Selena’s still heartbroken family. And the woman dubbed an evil stepmother accused of locking her stepson in a small storage space for twenty years was back in court today. For the first time we are learning how her stepson is feeling, as Steven Fabian reports, as he recovers from the alleged abuse he's questioning why his stepmother is not behind bars. Cops took the man into custody, but what has the mom outraged is the fact he's back at his home which is right on her street! The intruder is charged with 2 counts of burglary and assault.   He's due in court next Tuesday. And they desperately tried to save him. That's the word from a doctor whose E-M-S team rushed to a resort in Costa Rica where a former New York Yankee star's 14-year-old son was unresponsive. He says the team unsuccessfully performed CPR for 30 minutes. It's the most detail we've heard yet about the teen's death, which has been shrouded in mystery.  Plus, drama continues over President Trump's top national security advisors planning out the strike in Yemen on a group chat that inadvertently included a journalist. Now the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, is under fire - with a Democratic congressman asking if he had been drinking before the chat. Now, Republicans are hitting back. And we're learning more about the murders of four University of Idaho students in their off-campus house. Prosecutors say accused killer Bryan Kohberger disguised himself in a mask showing only his eyes. More of the texts were released today and they are filled with emojis, leading some to say it sounds more like teenagers texting than government officials. Plus, a couple is being held in a maximum-security prison in Mexico - but they're not drug lords- they're a couple from Michigan who went on a family vacation and ended up under arrest all because of a dispute over a time share. Their daughter says they are innocent and have wrongly been held hostage for more than three weeks. And now a mystery in Hawaii - did a respected doctor try to murder his wife in one of the most scenic tourist spots in the aloha state? Authorities say the anesthesiologist tried to push her off a hiking trail and even hit her in the head with a rock... then left her for dead. And back in the 90's he was dubbed America’s dad, starring on the hit series 7th Heaven... then, Stephen Collins career imploded after he admitted he was sexually inappropriate with underage girls.
