The ballots are still being counted in some states but there has already been a loser declared in the midterm election: the pundits say it's Donald Trump. With a few exceptions, most of the major candidates he embraced lost. And many political commentators say Trumps appearance on the campaign trail may actually have helped the Democrats. And the bloodbath in tech continues with Facebook, or Meta as its now called, announcing they’re firing more than 11-thousand employees. That's about 13% of their workforce. And some of those axed workers are taking to social media to share their heartbreak. Plus, Powerball officials say the winner of that record $2 billion dollar jackpot has not yet come forward. But that hasn't stopped our Jim Moret from trying to find out who it is. And a security scare for King Charles and wife Camilla today as they were pelted with eggs during a public appearance. It comes as the hit Netflix series, “The Crown” releases its fifth season - which recreates princess Diana's headline making "revenge dress" to a T. It's being called the most consequential midterm election in years, and it may be days before we know all the results. The outcome will determine which party controls the House and Senate as well as power in some state legislatures and governors’ races. Steven Fabian has our election day coverage. And it's true! Millions of Americans were hoping to hit it big overnight as the Powerball jackpot grew to more than $2 billion dollars, but there was a glitch in the lottery software which delayed the drawing until early this morning. And guess what - as Jim Moret reports, one single person just got a lot richer! Plus, now a reminder of just how scary the RSV respiratory virus can be. The parents of a stricken baby girl had to call police after the child stopped breathing. Thankfully, the cops knew just what to do. And for the first time we're hearing the 911 call placed after singer, Aaron Carter, was found unresponsive in his bathtub. The operator does his best to keep the distraught caller calm as he tries to get help to the scene. Tomorrow is Election Day...and already more than 41 million Americans have cast ballots in early voting. Behind the scene against a backdrop of some who still don’t accept the 2020 results, both elections officials and the media covering the midterms will have their work cut out for them. Steven Fabian takes you behind the scenes to see how the networks are preparing. And Aaron Carter was once on top of the music charts…then substance abuse and mental health issues consumed his life. Plus, if Amy Schumer seemed a bit emotional at the end of her Saturday Night Live hosting gig. There's a reason…her three-year-old boy was diagnosed with RSV while she was in rehearsals. As Ann Mercogliano reports, Schumer's son is part of a nationwide surge in the respiratory virus. And he produced some of the greatest music of all time...then Phil Spector was convicted of fatally shooting actress Lana Clarkson inside his castle-like home. A new chapter has begun at Twitter…and for half the people who worked there - they will not be part of it. They were let go today...finding out by email that they no longer had a job. Les Trent on the bewilderment amongst Twitter workers, and what it all means for Twitter. And there has been a flood of anti-Semitic activity in recent weeks. Nets star player Kyrie Irving was suspended for posting a link to an anti-Semitic film, the FBI have warned of threats against Jewish synagogues in New Jersey, and there was this ugly message blasted at the stadium after the UGA/Florida game in Jacksonville. Now police say they know who was behind that. Plus, There's been an 11% increase in rapes reported here in New York City…and one of the latest was a young woman getting an early morning run. Another woman who was jogging came to her rescue. She may not have gotten help as quick as she did if not for this good Samaritan. And was she scratching her face with her middle finger? Or making a rude gesture? And if it was the former, why did convicted killer Nikolas Cruz laugh? A gesture caught on courtroom camera by one of the assistant defense attorneys is now under official investigation. A lot of people have it...the fear of being buried alive. And authorities say this lady lived it. Cops say this mother of two was attacked by her estranged husband, angry over their bitter divorce. They say he tied her up, stabbed her and then buried her in the woods. Les Trent on how she got out alive. The husband has pleaded not guilty. And health authorities say it’s the worst pediatric-care crisis in decades. Hospitals in nearly half of the country report they are nearing capacity for children suffering from RSV... a respiratory virus that's striking children under age one. And here at inside edition, it's personal for our Steven Fabian. Plus, here's something we never reported in the 35 years of Inside Edition: scandal in the world of cornhole. Yup, there 'is' a world of cornhole. In fact, there's a championship connected with the popular bean bag game... and it's now being rocked by 'bag-gate.' And this guy was paragliding when he spotted a woman in distress, so he swooped in and saved the day. We're learning more about the home invasion that left the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the hospital. It turns out there is security camera footage of the break in, and as Steven Fabian reports, it's hoped the footage will put a stop to some of the outlandish conspiracy theories circulating about the incident. And victim impact statements continued today at the sentencing of Nikolas Cruz, found guilty of gunning down 17 people at a Parkland, Florida high school. One furious mom lashed out at Cruz saying he was hiding behind his mask - so the mask came off. Plus, prosecutors allege in a court document that he was upset about a poor grade: soon he and his friend will be on trial for murder. One year ago today, an Iowa teacher disappeared while on her daily walk. The next day she was found dead and two of her students were soon arrested in connection with the killing. Jim Moret on the new information coming to light on the anniversary of the teacher’s death. Both of the students have pleaded not guilty. And she said it was the worst mistake of her life, and now we have an idea of just how incapacitated soccer star Hope Solo was during a DWI arrest last spring. Now, police video of the incident has been released. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. They finally got to say their piece. For years, the family of the 17 people gunned down at a high school in Parkland, Florida have had to hold their tongue. But at today's sentencing, one after another they got to say everything they wanted confessed killer Nikolas Cruz to hear - and they did not hold back. And in Delphi, Indiana, residents are asking themselves - how did a suspected killer of two young teens live undetected right under their noses? As Steven Fabian reports, the arrest of a 50-year-old suspect is raising plenty of questions. Richard Allen has pleaded not guilty. Plus, the results of next week's midterms may influence Donald Trump's decision on running again for president...reigniting the many controversies surrounding the former president. A new book has again put the spotlight on the supermodel he dated before marrying his current wife, Melania. Now that woman is speaking out for the first time in an exclusive interview with Deborah Norville. And yesterday we brought you part one of our exclusive interview with the nanny at the center of the headline making love triangle - Olivia Wilde leaving Jason Sudeikis for Harry Styles. Now in part two the nanny explains why she's speaking out.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It took five years, but cops in Delphi, Indiana say they've finally cracked the case of the two young teens found dead near a railroad bridge. Officials have arrested 50-year-old Richard Allen and charged him with murder. He's a husband and father of this young woman who posed at the very same spot where police say her father committed double murder. He has plead not guilty. And officials in South Korea are combing through security camera footage and social media videos to determine what sparked a stampede that left more than 150 young people dead – including two American college students. As Jim Moret reports, the victim's families are haunted by the way their loved ones died. Plus, it's the explosive love triangle that's sparked global headlines: Olivia Wilde leaving Jason Sudeikis for Harry Styles. Allegations of what was going on behind the scenes were jaw dropping, and they came from one source - the couple's nanny. Now in a world exclusive interview the nanny is talking only to Inside Edition about what she saw. And the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is still recovering today from surgery to repair the fractured skull he suffered when attacked in his own home. There has been an outpouring of concern for the 82 year old, but there has also been some political rhetoric in the aftermath - including from new Twitter Boss Elon Musk, who posted then deleted something many found in bad taste.
