Another day another explosive video played at the trial of Alex Murdaugh, the disgraced attorney on trial for the murders of his wife and son. Jurors were shown Murdaugh planting a tree on his estate - authorities say that was a little over an hour before the slayings. Prosecutors asked jurors to focus on what he's wearing - Steven Fabian explains why. Murdaugh’s lawyer say he is innocent and had nothing to do with the murder of his wife and son. And here's what good sportsmanship doesn’t look like! A huge brawl erupts at a middle school basketball game among adults and spills onto the court, and one of the alleged participants - a grandfather - ended up dying a short time later. Les Trent reports. Plus, she's a former bachelor contestant married to a San Francisco 49ers linebacker, and she says fans of the Superbowl bound Philadelphia eagles were so rude to her that she'll never step foot in Eagles Stadium ever again. And if Tom Brady retired from the NFL so he could have more free time with his kids, he's off to a good start. The greatest quarterback of all time was just spotted sharing a sweet moment with his daughter. A lot of people have gates to keep their property secure, but that didn’t stop a man from barreling through the gate at Jennifer Aniston’s house. After crashing the gate, Aniston’s private security guard held the driver until cops could make an arrest. And how is it possible that a pair of Pit Bulls responsible for killing a dog in January would be in a position to attack another dog? A Chihuahua named Penny was terribly injured when the same dogs attacked her. Now, an entire neighborhood is asking that the owners of the vicious dogs be held responsible. Plus, it's the Oscars of the fashion world and last night stars from Hollywood, the music, and sports worlds all came together for the annual Met Ball. But the queen of the evening was without a doubt 81-year-old Diana Ross...who ruled the night in an 18-foot train. And Good Morning America's Robin Roberts is hosting a new true crime series on Hulu and she's telling what it’s all about. It was a concert for the record books... more than two million people gathered for a free concert in Rio given by Lady Gaga. You expect security to be tight for an event like this and it was - for good reason. Today we're learning more about how concert officials neutralized a bomb threat that could have ended in disaster.  And ordinarily rapper Sean Diddy Combs would be attending the annual Met Costume Gala this evening. Instead, he's in court for day one of his federal trial on sex trafficking charges.  Plus, even supporters of President Trump say a meme he sent out was too far. Over the weekend, the president posted an image of himself as Pope, joking that he'd like to be Pope. Coming as the college of cardinals is about to meet in its secret conclave to select the next pontiff, there is an uproar over what many call a tasteless post.  And now a reminder that Wednesday is the deadline to get your Real ID driver's license. You'll need it to travel domestically by plane. A tragic accident at a star-studded music festival in California. Big names like actress Sydney Sweeney were there. But after the concert, there was an accident involving football legend John Elway and his business partner. The business partner and dear friend of Elway has died after falling off a golf cart. And days after that trainwreck interview made headlines, former NFL coach Bill Belichick is still making news. Published reports suggest he's engaged. Plus, President Trump held his fourth cabinet meeting of his presidency today... stopping at one point to bid farewell to Elon Musk. He says he's scaling back his work in Washington to focus on his businesses, including saving Tesla, which has seen a devastating plunge in profits.  And Katy Perry reads what people say about her on social media -- and she's had it with the comments about her space trip and her concert tour. It was created to give parents a safe place for their children during the summer and afterschool. And today three children and an 18-year-old girl who were at a daycare center are dead - killed when authorities say a woman drove through the school. And last week a devastating wildfire in New Jersey sent smoke billowing over Manhattan. A nineteen-year-old is accused of starting the blaze and it's putting the spotlight on bonfire parties - popular with local teenagers. Plus, today marks 100 days since Donald Trump returned to the White House, but his approval ratings are definitely not where he'd like them to be. And that lead to a late-night White House meltdown. And Beyonce kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour last night in Los Angeles in front of a star-studded crowd. Despite talk of a ticket sale slump...it was a packed stadium. And the fans went wild when she flew above them in a classic car. At least two arrests in connection with the purse snatching of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Turns out both suspects are allegedly career criminals in the country illegally -- unaware of whose bag was being nabbed. As a White House official said today, they picked the wrong person. And you've probably seen that spectacular footage of a boat crash over the weekend on Lake Havasu. They were hoping to make history with a new speed record, but instead they've made different headlines. Incredibly, they're alive to read them. Plus, when you're trying to sell a book, you need to get noticed - and former Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick is definitely getting noticed, thanks to his much-younger girlfriend who put the kibosh on one question during an interview. And a new trend circulating on social media might actually be good - for your wallet. It's called 'No Buy,' and its basically people going public with their plan to cut back or eliminate unnecessary spending. It's no accident that it's trending just when surveys reveal Americans’ biggest concerns are all pocketbook issues.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. This is not something they cover during the airline safety briefing. If the ceiling starts to fall in, hold it up. That's exactly what happened on a Delta jet from Atlanta to Chicago. Passengers found themselves holding up the ceiling at 30,000 feet! And the crazy thing is - the same problem happened on another Delta jet on the same day! And an air quality alert for the Big Apple ... and the reason is wildfires. More than 15,000 acres in New Jersey have been burned and the smoke is now in New York City. The smoke may become so bad to breathe we could see the return of masks. Plus, in Vatican City, a steady stream of mourners have passed by the casket of the late Pope Francis. On day two of the three-day period of viewing, when the public was first admitted into St. Peters, there was a bit of a bottleneck -- but, the lines are moving rather quickly. Perhaps because church officials decided to keep the basilica open overnight. And more than 3.6 million babies were born in the U.S. last year. That sounds like a lot -- but it's below the birthrate needed to maintain the population stable through births alone. President Trump wants to address that - by paying women $5000 to have a child. Not everyone is applauding the idea. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
