For the first time in 130 years a royal has taken the stand in court. Prince Harry is among those suing a British newspaper claiming they used unlawful methods like phone hacking to secure stories. However, it's what he said on the stand that's making jaws drop. And a mother of four ended up being shot and killed by a woman in what cops call a deadly neighbor dispute. But what has her grief-stricken family outraged is the fact that the 58-year-old woman who pulled the trigger hasn't been arrested because of Florida’s controversial “Stand your Ground” law. Plus, after the news Robert De Niro and Al Pacino were becoming dads in their late seventies and early 80's respectively many couldn't imagine what that would be like...but this dad can definitely relate. And funny guy Pete Davidson just adopted a new puppy...but the adoption process didn't exactly go smoothly. Judging from a foul mouthed voicemail Davidson left that has now been made public. Inside Edition reports…America is a nation on edge today as emotions run high one week after George Floyd died in police custody. Protests overnight resulted in thousands of arrests for curfew violation or in connection with looting and destruction of property. In New York City, the first curfew in more than 75 years did not stop things from getting out of hand. As things are so volatile, it’s possible you may find yourself inadvertently caught up in a swarm of people. What do you do to stay safe? It’s a situation Inside Edition’s camera crew found themselves in when their car was surrounded. For those who want to make their voices heard on this very important civil rights issue, the Covid-19 pandemic makes participating especially tricky. Is there a way to be a part of a demonstration without putting your health at risk? Les Trent has some tips. And some people stepped in to help save their local liquor store during a protest…so why were they cuffed by police?  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Inside Edition reports…There are pleas for calm today in the wake of a weekend which saw protests in at least 140 different cities around the country that were triggered by last week’s death of George Floyd while in police custody. In Beverly Hills a curfew went into effect at one o’clock this afternoon…all part of an effort to prevent more of the looting and violence that rocked locations around Los Angeles that have come to symbolize the difference between the haves and have nots. The protests couldn’t come at a worse time for business owners. With most companies closed for over two months due to the pandemic, June was going to be an opportunity to salvage their businesses…but in too many locations, the unrest has put those plans on hold. And unless you were there, what you know about the unrest in America you know thanks to the work of journalists out in the field…but around the country reporters have been injured, some apparently targeted, as they’ve tried to do their work keeping the rest of us informed.
