Major drama at the Donald Trump hush money trial. Just seconds after it was confirmed the entire jury pool had been picked, including 12 jurors and six alternates came a horrifying scene. A man set himself on fire right outside the courthouse. Ann Mercogliano was there and has a firsthand account. And we warn you the images are disturbing. And, we are now seeing bodycam video of police arriving on the scene of that heartbreaking uber shooting that shocked the nation. Both the 81-year-old man and the Uber driver he fatally shot had fallen victim to a phone scam. And as Jim Moret reports, the new video show cops getting the alleged scammer on the phone. The 81-year-old man has pled not guilty to murder charges. Plus, if you’re a Swiftie, you're probably feeling a bit tired today. Because last night at midnight, Taylor swift dropped her new album ‘Tortured Poets Department'. Our Alison Hall is among the millions caught up in Taylor mania. And, continuing chaos at Columbia University, pro-Palestinian demonstrators clashed with Israel supporters. And across the country at USC, a massive crowd marched to protest the school's decision to not allow a pro-Palestinian valedictorian to speak at graduation. Inside Edition reports…There’s been lots of news coverage about high-end stores being targeted by looters around the country…but there’s another target that hasn’t gotten nearly as much attention: mom and pop stores doing whatever they can to stay in business. A luxury car dealership is out of cars after the place was ransacked by looters. Today in Minneapolis the first of several memorial services was held to remember George Floyd. And the Las Vegas strip is back in action!  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Inside Edition reports…America is a nation on edge today as emotions run high one week after George Floyd died in police custody. Protests overnight resulted in thousands of arrests for curfew violation or in connection with looting and destruction of property. In New York City, the first curfew in more than 75 years did not stop things from getting out of hand. As things are so volatile, it’s possible you may find yourself inadvertently caught up in a swarm of people. What do you do to stay safe? It’s a situation Inside Edition’s camera crew found themselves in when their car was surrounded. For those who want to make their voices heard on this very important civil rights issue, the Covid-19 pandemic makes participating especially tricky. Is there a way to be a part of a demonstration without putting your health at risk? Les Trent has some tips. And some people stepped in to help save their local liquor store during a protest…so why were they cuffed by police?  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Inside Edition reports…There are pleas for calm today in the wake of a weekend which saw protests in at least 140 different cities around the country that were triggered by last week’s death of George Floyd while in police custody. In Beverly Hills a curfew went into effect at one o’clock this afternoon…all part of an effort to prevent more of the looting and violence that rocked locations around Los Angeles that have come to symbolize the difference between the haves and have nots. The protests couldn’t come at a worse time for business owners. With most companies closed for over two months due to the pandemic, June was going to be an opportunity to salvage their businesses…but in too many locations, the unrest has put those plans on hold. And unless you were there, what you know about the unrest in America you know thanks to the work of journalists out in the field…but around the country reporters have been injured, some apparently targeted, as they’ve tried to do their work keeping the rest of us informed.
