The frenzy over the apparent drones over New Jersey and elsewhere was unabated over the weekend. Officially the government says it doesn’t know where they're from, but Rosie O’Donnell says she does. She took to social media saying "they're here". To O’Donnell, it’s clear these aren't really drones but aliens from outer space, but is she serious? And the man accused of murdering the CEO of United Healthcare has a new attorney. And before she was retained, she was on tv talking about a possible insanity defense. This comes as President-elect Donald Trump speaks out about the shooting. Plus, the woman who alleges that Jay-Z sexually assaulted her more than twenty years ago when she was 13 is speaking out, admitting there are inconsistencies in her story. And Jay-Z has come out swinging vehemently denying the allegations, filing to dismiss the lawsuit and calling the woman's attorney a '1-800 lawyer.' And last week, President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 criminals, and one in particular is sparking outrage today - a now-former judge who accepted $2.8 million for jailing 2,300 children - some as young as eight. Now one of the outraged moms is speaking out. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. The week begins with the nation still fixated on the unsolved murders of those four University of Idaho students. And as the mystery continues, every possible theory is being examined ... including the gruesome killing of a dog in the area just a few weeks earlier. Steven Fabian on whether there might be a connection. And now to the mass shooting in Colorado. It turns out the man suspected of murdering 5 people and injuring dozens more at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs had been on police radar. He was arrested last year after allegedly threatening his mother with a homemade bomb. The charges were later dismissed but many are asking with that kind of red flag why did he have an assault rifle? Plus, there's another type of crime going on that you may not have heard of. It’s one where thieves are targeting wedding photographers to steal their pricey equipment. And the way they're committing these crimes is leaving both the photographers and the bridal couples on the other side of the lens, terrified. Ann Mercogliano reports. And speaking of weddings, it was a busy weekend for President Biden. He not only hosted his granddaughter’s wedding at the White House, but the very next day, he turned 80 making him the oldest Commander-in-Chief in American history. The slaying of four college students is taking more twists and turns. Cops have reversed an earlier advisory that citizens needn't be worried for their safety...they also say two other roommates were home during the slayings, and they're searching local hunting shops for a particular kind of knife. And with the killer still at large and so much mystery surrounding the case...it's no surprise citizen sleuths are hard at work trying to solve the crime. Steven Fabian has more on that. Plus, It’s been more than a half a century since a White House family wedding was held at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This weekend the granddaughter of President Biden will say her “I do's” on the South Lawn. And the holiday travel season is upon us and some female fliers have had it with certain guys invading their personal space. It's been more than three days since four University of Idaho students were found murdered and police are telling students and residents they should not be concerned for their own safety. But that’s hardly reassuring for the rattled community...or the victims' families who vow to find the assailant. And there’s lots of reaction to former President Trump's announcement he's running again for the White House, and observers note that Ivanka Trump was not at the event. The former first daughter was a key advisor during her dad's time in the White House, she now says she's done with politics. What do you do when most of the candidates you back don’t win? If you're Donald Trump you declare you’re running for president. Against all advice from political experts, the former president is set to announce a third attempt to win the White House. As yet another of his political endorsements goes down to defeat. There are plenty of questions and very few answers after four students at the University of Idaho were found murdered in their off-campus house. Authorities say it was not a murder suicide…and they're calling it a “crime of passion.” Plus, it was a heart wrenching day in court as victims of the Waukesha parade massacre gave victim impact statements.
