The frenzy over the apparent drones over New Jersey and elsewhere was unabated over the weekend. Officially the government says it doesn’t know where they're from, but Rosie O’Donnell says she does. She took to social media saying "they're here". To O’Donnell, it’s clear these aren't really drones but aliens from outer space, but is she serious? And the man accused of murdering the CEO of United Healthcare has a new attorney. And before she was retained, she was on tv talking about a possible insanity defense. This comes as President-elect Donald Trump speaks out about the shooting. Plus, the woman who alleges that Jay-Z sexually assaulted her more than twenty years ago when she was 13 is speaking out, admitting there are inconsistencies in her story. And Jay-Z has come out swinging vehemently denying the allegations, filing to dismiss the lawsuit and calling the woman's attorney a '1-800 lawyer.' And last week, President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 criminals, and one in particular is sparking outrage today - a now-former judge who accepted $2.8 million for jailing 2,300 children - some as young as eight. Now one of the outraged moms is speaking out. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It's all over a man wanted for murder in New York City who is also under arrest suspected of other crimes in the state of Arizona...where the prosecutor is refusing to extradite him to New York, claiming the D.A. there is soft on crime. A day at the beach in Florida turns deadly. A brother and sister on vacation with their parents were digging a hole in the sand when it collapsed, burying them. The boy was rescued, but his sister was beneath the sand and it took an excruciating 15 minutes to dig her out. She didn't make it. As Ann Mercogliano reports, it’s a reminder to all parents to be especially careful on the beach. And another mid-flight emergency…this time passengers on an American Airline flight worked together to restrain an unruly passenger threatening to open the emergency door while in the air. Plus, she went on an anti-cop rant on her podcast then just hours later she fatally mowed a cop down while she was driving drunk. Today it was her sentencing...and as Les Trent reports, the slain man's fellow officers filled the courtroom. And she's already one of the greatest singers of all time with 32 Grammys on her mantel...now Beyonce has landed on top of the country charts.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. If you are an American, it is very dangerous to travel in Russia. We learned today of the arrest of a ballerina with dual Russian/American citizenship. She was taken into custody in Russia the same day Vladimir Putin sat down for that softball interview with Tucker Carlson. The woman's alleged crime - giving $51 to a charity supporting Ukraine. And they say good fences make good neighbors. However, when you live in an apartment complex that's not an option. Inside Edition reports on a neighbor who started tossing stuff from his apartment window while yelling obscenities. It was so unsettling a family sent their three children away to stay with their grandparents. Plus, don't give your personal information to someone you don’t know. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. We've all heard these admonitions forever -- but as P.T. Barnum said, "there's a sucker born every minute." People are still falling for phone scams - even a financial writer for a top magazine. And most of us wash the sheets about once a week. However, that might not be enough to keep creepy germs out of your bed. You might be surprised what Steven Fabian found we when tested people's sheets.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Two juveniles remain arrested in connection with the shooting at last week's Kansas City Chiefs victory parade. However, in the chaos of the day, many more were briefly detained. Including this man...who cops now say had nothing to do with the shooting. Now, after images of him in cuffs circulated online, he tells our Les Trent he's trying to repair his reputation. And Joel Osteen back in the pulpit at Lakewood Baptist Church this weekend…the first Sunday service since a woman opened fire there a week ago. Top of mind was the seven-year-old shooter’s son, who was gravely wounded in the shooting. Plus, Coast Guard inspectors were going about their daily checks on a loading dock when they heard some scratching coming from inside a giant shipping container...and when they finally reached what was inside they were in for quite a surprise. Steven Fabian tells us what they found. And more than 50 years after A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving debuted - a beloved character is back.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. A major blow for Donald Trump today as a New York judge ordered him to pay more than $350 million in the former president’s civil business fraud trial. The judge has also banned Trump from doing business in the state of New York for three years. It’s being reported the ruling could cost Trump all of his available cash. And, two juvenile suspects have been officially charged in the deadly shooting at the Superbowl victory parade in Kansas City that left one woman dead and nearly two dozen injured. The news comes as Taylor Swift makes a $100,000 donation to a fund set up to benefit the dead woman's family. Plus, that abandoned high rise we've told you about in Los Angeles is back in the news. Not only has the skyscraper been covered with graffiti, but it’s also been used as a place for base jumping. City officials say it's just an accident waiting to happen. So now, finally, they say they are taking action. And, there is outrage around the world over news of the death of Alexei Navalny -- one of Vladimir Putin's most vocal opponents who cheated death more than once before he was imprisoned in Siberia. Russian officials say he died behind bars after a 'fall.'   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. There are still shockwaves being felt across the country after yesterday's shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade. One person was killed, more than 20 were taken to the hospital - several critically injured. Three people were detained and cops are saying the shooting seems to have been connected to some personal dispute. Les Trent is in Kansas City. And former President Trump was in court today…where a trial date was set in the New York case involving hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels. We've got details on when it will get underway and how the defendant, Donald Trump, plans on being in court and on the campaign trail at the same time. Plus, there have been questions about the mental acuity of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden because of their age. Some suggest both men should be tested on their cognitive abilities. Inside Edition is with a man, very close to them in age, who just took the test. And don’t joke about elderly folks and technology. Not only have these seniors figured out social media, wait until you hear how many followers they have.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It was supposed to be a fun filled day - a million people filling the streets of Kansas City to give the Chiefs a hometown heroes welcome after winning the Super Bowl. However, chaos erupted as shots broke out and people ran for their lives. And it turns out Taylor Swift was far from today's drama - thousands of miles away in Melbourne, Australia for the next leg of her tour. All this comes on the heels of Travis Kelce’s apology to his coach over that tantrum on the field on Sunday - an apology that came at the urging of his big brother. Plus, it was a television staple for quarter of a century: The Newlywed Game, where couples answered wacky and cringe worthy questions. On this Valentines Day, Jim Moret catches up with some of those couples who are still together decades later. And it was only a matter of time but asking to be a Valentine has become a big event. There's been lots of talk whether Taylor Swift will be on hand for tomorrow's victory parade in Kansas City - but a top city official now says she should stay away because they can't guarantee security. The news comes as Taylor and her entourage are spotted boarding a plane out of Las Vegas after celebrating her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s big Super Bowl win. And there's a Taylor Swift lyric for about everything and plenty of people are seizing on this one: “You Need to Calm Down” - when it comes to that now famous shove Travis Kelce gave coach Andy Reid during the game. Plus, a driverless Waymo was going thru San Francisco’s Chinatown - on the Chinese New Year…next thing you know, it was on fire. Jim Moret says it’s the latest example humans fighting back against machines. And if you live where the snow's been falling you already know this - this latest white stuff is the wet heavy kind. It's really hard to shovel…the kind of snow that often sends people to the emergency room. Les Trent has some tips on the right way to shovel.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
