Chapter 1: Etched in Stone

Chapter 1: Etched in Stone

Captain Arthur Sheffield was a Revolutionary War captain of a militia from North Carolina. On our debut episode, the MCHS History Club discusses what roles a militia captain might have filled in the Revolution and examines the legacy and family history he established in Marshall County. We also caught up with Marshall County Mayor Mike Keny for a discussion on the importance of local government. Finally, our Alumni spotlight this month is Mrs. Kim Anderson! Check out the link below for our episode script, which includes our sources and links to our music for this episode.
