The name Gimli is derived from the old Norse word Gimm, meaning fire. And that’s exactly what he’s bringing to the dancefloor; hot disco, fiery feelgood house and steamy grooves.. Starting of with positive and feelgood gospel and disco, moving up the tempo to energetic house and breaky techno and finishing of with trancey tunes and hyperpop-ish bangers. Gimli has a wide experience on stage as he played more than 500 shows in his 10+ years as a DJ. He played at festivals like We Are Electric, Amsterdam Dance Event, Draaimolen, Into The Woods, Solar Weekend and Sziget and in venues like 013, Effenaar and ZiggoDome. Furthermore he’s a Disco Snolly resident, booker at Club Smederij and plays all kind of different music under his aliases ‘De Manager’ and ‘Het Hiphop Journaal’.
