NetSuite 2021 Release 2 is rolling out! We've got a ton of new updates around increased automation and efficiencies for our customers as we continue to navigate a changing business climate. Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Lisa Schwarz, will kick things off with an overview of what's to come in 2021.2 (1:55) as well as a reminder about how releases work (6:48) and how to best prepare for them (10:10). Then, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Scott Beaver, will unveil new financial and accounting capabilities (15:43), including online invoicing (18:05) and multi-entity accounting (20:58). Abby Jenkins, Product Marketing Manager, joins next to discuss the current state of the global supply chain (24:11) and how that will shape the 2021 holiday season (25:45). She'll then explain how NetSuite is helping customers optimize inventory and increase efficiency by allocating orders with the highest profit potential (26:37), auto-generating lot numbers and simplifying palette packing (28:32). Next, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Marc Holliday, jumps on to reveal the SuitePeople updates that are addressing some of the biggest concerns for HR teams right now (30:58), especially around employee engagement (38:05). He'll also discuss automation for payroll processes like retirement planning (41:57). Developers' ears will perk up with our final guest, Principal Outbound Product Manager, Erik Klein, who will dive into SuiteCloud Platform updates, including SuiteTalk REST web services and added support for Microsoft's VS Code editor (43:46).
