Chapter 11:• "He who does not burn for malek, will be burned by malek".• Patches on cadets, she notes circular patch with water and floating spheres in case she needs to defeat them. • 171 cadets but only 100 dragons. • She questions if there are checks and balances for xaden's level of power. • Dain begs her to not do the gauntlet, says he would never run away to be a scribe bc he is a rider bc he doesn't think she can be one. • She flies through the course, didn't use ropes, for the chimney she chooses a time delay by grabbing a rope to use to climb.• Ridoc cheers for her, last level with no practice, uses her dagger to make the climb. I bet Xaden was turned on watching haha.• Amber, dain's fwb, pissed. Codex quoted that she could use a dagger.• "I didn't miss the hint of a smirk on his infuriatingly indecadent mouth of his"• They all make it.

Chapter 12:• 169 cadets. They placed 11 out of 36.• Presentation day.• Walks down meadow, stay 7ft from each other.• Rumors of a feather tail.• Recommend they talk while walking. • Mama sorrengail had a brown dragon. • Tynan taunts violet about how hot her sister is.• Everyone roasting andarna and violet.• Tynan wants to take out andarna.• Ridoc admires them, Luca calls all of them underwhelming.• Violet shares a story where she thought her mom was a venin, blood shot eyes. • Pryor toasted.• Greens smell her scales armor from Tiny.• Luca toasted.

Chapter 13:• Now it's threshing, and they go out to be bonded.• Violet feels no connections.• I originally thought she was truly only getting andarna and shocked with tarin.• Jack and crew out to take out andarna for the same reasons as her.• Finds andarna first, hurts her ankle, and she defends andarna who doesn't fly away (just swishes her tail lol).• Xaden tells them to reconsider, spidey sense, sgaeyl snarled.

Chapter 14:• Xaden initially doesn't interfere, just says sgaeyl isn't one to mess with.• Violet fights against 3 of then and xaden yells "look behind you" he interferes but calls it narrating.• Xaden steps in about to truly interfere, then Tarin drops in. She is up to his ankle.• Tarin says "step aside silver one".• Tynan toasted.• "Your bleeding, stop it" - Tarin• She argues that she doesn't want him.• He bows, she climbs, she falls.

Chapter 15:• Tarin embarrassed of her after he catches her.• "I know exactly who and what you are Violet Sorrengail" - Tarin• Locks her in.• Tarin shows off, lots of sarcasm. • She heads in to give his name.• Chose her for being the smartest and saving andarna.• "Maybe I was saving you" -Andarna • What do you think mama sorrengail is thinking, vi thinks she doesn't think Tarin is actually bonded to her nor cares how she is doing.• This is when we hear andarna share her full name.
