George and I continue our conversation about the process of surviving life after hockey.

Learning coping skills and finding a support system are keys to rebounding from life's obstacle course. Through acknowledging that some things are out of our control, we can stay resilient in the face of adversity.

With additional focus on a new job that George received through his @nextshifthockey.com podcast, he is on his way to helping other athletes like himself 'shift' into a new career.

Through coaching youth hockey, George has also found joy again through sharing his love of hockey with the new generations. Reflections thus come naturally when surrounded by his past memories of playing for pure joy as a kid.
