Steve Smith is a highly accomplished drummer whose style embodies the history of U.S. music. With a career spanning over four decades, he has performed with jazz and rock legends, including Journey, Bryan Adams, Mariah Carey, and Jean-Luc Ponty. Smith has also collaborated with jazz greats like Zakir Hussain, Buddy DeFranco, and Dave Liebman. He has recorded albums that have sold over 100 million copies worldwide. As a band leader, Smith tours with his group Vital Information, which is approaching its 40th anniversary. In 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Steve Smith, a versatile drummer, is known for his modern style rooted in the rich traditions of American music. He began playing at a young age and studied at the Berklee College of Music. Throughout his career, Smith has toured, recorded, and produced music, working with renowned artists such as Hiromi, Benny Golson, and Ahmad Jamal.
