Father and son adventure on the GDMBR with Paul Bergeron

In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures Podcast, I speak with Paul Bergeron, an avid cyclist with a background in freeskiing who turned to biking after a severe accident. Paul shares his experiences of bike touring and bikepacking, focusing on his latest adventure along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route with his father, who has survived two brain aneurysms and heart surgery. Paul discusses the logistics of the trip, challenges faced, including dealing with injuries and extreme weather conditions, their bike setups, diet, and the inspirational people they met along the way. Paul also touches on his past bike trips, the importance of preparation and gear testing, and his future plans for bikepacking trips.
