Ep 41: Rechargeable vs. battery powered hearing aid

Ep 41: Rechargeable vs. battery powered hearing aid

Rechargeable hearing aids usually need to be charged every day, however once they are fully charged can get up to 24 hours of usage.

Hearing aids with batteries usually last one week which means you will have to change them out every week.

One of the benefits of using rechargeable hearing aids is that you will never have to buy batters. Which in our case, we have a set of 60 batteries for $30 at the time of this recording.

Another benefit of rechargeable hearing aids is avoiding dexterity issues due to replacing the battering in the device every time. As opposed to rechargeable sets that only need to be placed on the charging dock.

Also if you travel often you won't have to worry about bringing batteries with you. Even if you are in an area where there are no wall adapters such as camping you can use a battery pack to charge them.

Lastly, rechargeable batteries are eco-friendly to the environment as well.
