Prologue:• Xaden keeps his eyes down, she's trying to find xaden while he is headed to barlowe.• They allow her access, consequence is losing their soul• Over hears Xaden and Barlowe• Andarna wants to find her family 🖤• Violet needs Imogen (to erase Barlowe's memory?)

Chapter 1:• Except: I will save him• Tairn still pissy about Violet jumping, they're hunting for dark wielders • Lilith protected basgiath from storms• Andarna mocks tairns • Slain 31 venin *• Ridoc's dragon fucked up and pissed off tairn, ridoc and Aotrom fighting about going back to aretia • Tairn keeps calling xaden dark one• Treaty being formed for Aretia riders, divide among the cadets • Imogen missing duty to be in xaden duty• Garrick, bodhi, and Imogen think Violet shouldn't be sleeping with Xaden • Imogen thinks Violet is running her own rebellion to save xaden and find andarna's kind• Sawyer visited by retirement general• Venin inside basgiath

Chapter 2:• Special signets happen maybe once a generation or century and only once all 6 existed at one time• Within the walls(in the computer 🤨, zoolander), no infantry survivors, sawyer left behind?!, takes out a "scribe"• How were they scribes without the scribes knowing?? • Scribe venin(forehead tattoo?) disappears while fighting near Barlowe's cell• Xaden takes them all out with shadows,"why is it always you?"• Barlowe has drained the cell, if he has nothing to pull he'll be dead within the week?!• Vi and Xaden alone, fear of him being alone with her, no red eyes, he let's her in, he wielded beyond the wards but only with Sgaeyl's power • Sgaeyl not speaking to Xaden, tairn said to not count on Sgaeyl getting over it, violet doesnt know what he gave for the power • Xaden didn't know violet was in the interrogation room but bc he sensed the venin! (Like dragons to each other?)

Chapter 3:• Letter from mom to dad, atrocious taste in men 🤣• Violet's not scared but he thinks she should be, alone time up• Private meeting, violet assigned to a task force to find 7th breed, captain Grady leading • Negotiating where to place the fliers• Back in the bedroom, they slept on and start to bang one out.• When she came, she was pulling at their bond and he pulled away. • He lost control and started to channel from the headboard 😱

Chapter 4:• They talk about what happened, violet hasn't told Xaden her next mission• Brennan interrupted, how many people are out there*• Garrick slept with a flier, Imogen insults him, he asks if she is jealous• Brennan there for xaden for patrol, Mira arrived and brought violet a conduit, wooden disc for practice? Warmth, levitation, and sound warding • Brennan negotiating for the fliers, fliers with the 1st years, mira finds out about andarna adventure • Brennan compares mira to lilith, she calls him out for not using their name, she throws the disc • Disc is for keeping the fliers safe at basgiath, for negotiation?

Chapter 5:• Excerpt, never expect mercy from a rider• Sloane tells violet about a challenge between riders and fliers, she calls for Dain, aura beinhaven has a 1st yr flier at knife point.• Cat wants to take his place, violet tells her why it's a bad idea, dain points out it's against the codex • Dragons and gryphons arrive, Dain and Aura arguing, "not sure I would brag about being the wing that produced Jack Barlowe" 🤣• Violet wishes Xaden would put his shields down. Tairn says the dark one cannot reuinite what he broke 😱 • Aura challenges, starts to torch dain, Vi pins her hand with a dagger. • If you're going to wield it's me your going to be dealing with. ⚡️
