On Thursday, the Los Angeles district attorney recommended a resentencing for Erik and Lyle Menendez amid new evidence. The brothers have been behind bars for 34 years, serving a life sentence without parole for brutally killing their parents in 1989. The two teams have met 11 times before in the World Series, with the Yankees taking the title eight times.
