A wife and budy mom of 2 teenagers. I started my Arbonne online personal care business in Nov 2006. It was the best financial/work decision I ever made. I had previously worked for a major corporation for 15 years. I liked who I worked with but didn't love the 7am to 7pm branch hours and nonexistent flexibility, however, this corporation did teach branch managers to think like an entrepreneur and I could make decisions to increase the profitability of my branch (like an owner but yet I was not the owner) So as I got married and started my family - I no longer wanted to work for someone else, simultaneously because of my babies I was learning and becoming aware of personal care product and the range of quality, standards and price points that were available in the US. I have to say I was shocked that we can buy a product from a store that isn't healthy for us to use on our skin or consume, I was under the false assumption if it was on the shelf at a store - the government implemented standards that would make a product safe for me and my family, unfortunately, that is not that case- and I wanted to learn more this opened a brand new door for me, personally and professionally - I love that I have been able to build a multi million dollar global business, from my lap top and phone & be a very present mother and wife!! NOW 14 years into my business I love sharing and educating people on how product ingredients & standards are different company to company and how they can build an additional income stream into their life!
