Better Backstories is a card-based brainstorming system for authors, role-players, educators, songwriters, and more! It is genre-neutral and system independent, so it works it can provide inspiration for any setting or any role-playing game. Matthew Phillion is a writer, actor, and seasoned Dungeon Master. Colin Carlton is a writer and voice actor with an improv background. The characters we create in this episode are free to use in your own tabletop RPGs, however, we do claim rights on the intellectual property related to the characters themselves in relation to anything other than a for-fun game.
