In this episode, Savannah comes to Julie with a passionate plea for parents and partners of those in the gender queer community to have patience, perseverance, and practical experience when seeking out literature for yourself and those whom you love. One recent LGBTQ+ best seller children's picture book sold and promoted on Amazon was actually an example of anti-transgender transphobia propaganda. Savannah and Julie talk about the importance and necessity of finding the literature that best supports education and inclusivity for allies and the people they love and want to support in their positive journeys. From the genesis of more overt queerness in mainstream comics to folx using the right search terms to find the appropriate reading materials, this is a topic important to those who may still feel alone when embodying their authentic spirit.

SAVANNAH HAUK is the author of “Living with Crossdressing: Defining a New Normal” and “Living with Crossdressing: Discovering your True Identity“.
