DJ Havana Brown - Singer 'We Run The Night' featuring Pitbull

Havana Brown is one of those rare multitalented musical geniuses that can nearly do it all. She is a DJ, singer and dancer and is very hardworking to boot. The sultry 28 year old Australian has the makings of becoming a global star for years to come. Brown grew up on a small Australian island called Rodrigues, where she worked her way up the DJ ranks to become a sensation in her homeland. Her DJ career began in 2008 when she signed with Island Records Australia. She then started her Crave compilation album series which includes hit cover tunes from well-known artists. This quick success led to her to touring with Britney Spears, Rihanna, the Pussycat Dolls, Chris Brown and Enrique Iglesias. Fast forward to 2011, and Havana was recording her debut song, We Run the Night. That song certified triple platinum by the end of the year from the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). She went on to win several more music awards Down Under for her efforts. The success of that debut song led her to signing a new contract in the U.S. with Universal Republic. She remixed the song, We Run the Night, with Pitbull. Radio stations across the country instantly started playing the song in heavy rotation on air. In short time, the hit reached number one on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart and number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100. By October 2013, Brown had released her debut studio album Flashing Lights in Australia which hit number six on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album is set to be released this spring in the U.S. The album features her latest single, Warrior. Brown tells Amore Magazine she is taking her fame in stride and says her family is star struck by all the glitz and glamour that Hollywood has to offer when they come to the States. The U.S., like Australia, is now offering her the opportunity to live out her dream of creating great music for millions of people. What could be better than that?
