A blessing may be disguised as a loss and a loss may be disguised as a blessing. This is one thing that we can never figure out in life. 有一个穷老人，他只有一个独子和一匹马。有一天，他心爱的马逃出马厩，在附近的山麓走失了。邻人听到这件事，都非常同情他，「你的马走丢了，真是不幸啊！」大家都纷纷安慰他。他却说：「你怎么知道这是不幸？」 果然，几天之后，他的马自己回来，同时还带回十二只漂亮的野马。镇上的人听到有这么好的事，纷纷恭喜他，「你运气真好，现在你有十三匹马！」老人却说：「你怎么知道这是好运？」 他的话言犹在耳。第二天，他的独子在骑其中一匹野马时，不小心从马背上摔下来，竟跌断了腿，变成了瘸子。邻居听到这件意外，又对他说：「你的儿子变成了跛子了，真是不幸！」但是，老人又回答：「你怎么知道是不幸？」 果然，事隔不久，督运到镇上来，征召所有健壮的青年上战场打仗。战争输了，所有的士兵都阵亡。村子里唯一幸存的年轻人是老人他跛脚的儿子。他因为残废而躲过一劫。 ——摘自http://smilehoyn.mysinablog.com/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=88844 Subscribe to our newsletter: https://goo.gl/forms/iGzDQVYToF7Rivo42 Support us through Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/learningchinesethroughstories
