Chapter 19:• Excerpt: fliers should keep their gem next to their heart or else downfall• Riot of 8, halden got Mira to go with, they leave andarna in samara. • 12 hrs until she feela pain from being away from andarna, makes sense riders would die being gone too long from dragons just like Barlowe and channeling from the ground• Tairn doesn't listen to Grady lol, wielding in drained territory draws venin, mira think grady is trying to fail the mission• Officers go in the house, Aura and Vi stay out, aura panicks when xaden pops out and torches Grady 💀, town on fire, begs him to stop putting out the fire • Wyvern takes out Aura • Xaden grabs violet, wrapped in shadows, tairn grabs them, violet worried to wield, tairn corrects xaden has been closer while she wields 😂• They make it back to samara, mira did get the stone (cracked and hazy) a note to the lightning wielder from theophanie • Theophanie knew, (Xaden doesnt know how to block the venin??)

Chapter 20:• Vi researching devereli, no answers from barlowe, and the manuscript • Violet has an inkling about her dads hypothesis and not telling us!• Ridoc wants to go, sawyer has a metal prosthetic leg and joining classes• Ridoc froze the inside of the orange• Drake, Cat's cousin, at the meeting, mira missing.• Violet a bad ass bitch!! Daaaaaaammmnnn• Demands to choose her squad, puts Markum in his place as he wants to search aretia, tells ateos she speaks for the empyrean• Halden impressed lol • Xaden has been given many proposals • At the end, violet gets her way and she is impressed ridoc didn't make any remarks, "i kept the inside thoughts inside"• Mira punches Drake in the nuts 😂 and she calls out the absurdity of the squad, tairn agrees
