This week’s episode is a TWO PARTER and may just be one of our favourite interviews so far - perhaps because we forced the guest into being on the show or because we just couldn’t stop laughing the entire recording. Jeremy has been a good friend of Danica’s for years and “willingly” came on the pod to share his experience as a cis male with an insider view of the sêx industry. Jeremy has been working at the world famous str!p club The Number 5 Orange (aka “The Five”) for 25+ years; the last 12+ years occupying the role of General Manager. But he’s not like a regular manager, he’s a cool manager - we promise!  In the first part of this two-part episode we: discuss the major changes Jeremy has seen in the clubs over the last 25 years, the changes he’s seen in the dancers and the patrons, the impact of c0vid on the local club scene, advice on how to apply / audition for the club, comment on bullying in the club and new dancers respecting the veteran dancers, and discuss what indicators he sees that tells if someone is going to do well in the industry or have the tenacity for the club.
