He is the author of the award-winning book "A Walk In My Shoes: Questions I am Often Asked as a Gay Latter-day Saint" and co-hosts the podcast "Questions from the Closet." A multilingual professional speaking Spanish and Portuguese, Dr. Schilaty has lived and worked in Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, and Portugal. He is also the cofounder of the Gather Conference, which provides Christ-centered support to LGBTQ Latter-day Saints and their loved ones.
