A bilingual crossword! OK, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but French words do pop up even more than usual in today's grid, and for a good cause. The entire grid, come to think of it, was well done, with lots of fun cluing, and it did manage to hit that sweet spot, being not too hard, nor too easy, but juuuuust right.
