Making Waves Season 3 Episode 7: Anime!

Anyone else anime lovers here? Cuz we are! We talk about our different anime titles and genres, and get a look into our favorite characters as well. We dive even deeper into anime culture such as cosplay and anti-blackness within anime culture and take a look on those implications to society and appropriation!

Here at Making Waves we try and illuminate the experiences of Asian & Pacific Islanders at Oregon State University. Facilitating dialogue surrounding culture and diversity, we hope to dive into some of the complexities of the Asian & Pacific Islander experience through topics such as pop culture, social identity, multiculturalism, etc. Among many of the topics we wish to cover, we hope that you can resonate with our stories, as well as expose yourself to some new ideas and perspectives.

Hosted by Jonathan, Bekah, Souksavanh, and Angela, this podcast is a collaborative project between Asian & Pacific Cultural Center - Oregon State University, and KBVR FM.
