Donna Adelson Testifies with Dry Tears and Begs to Be Let Out of Jail

To everyone's surprise, Defendant Donna Adelson, who faces murder charges in the case of her ex son in law Dan Markel, took the stand in a motion hearing where she displayed an emotional side--and shared a lot of insight into how she's spending her time behind bars--and the alleged abuse she's been facing.

Donna Adelson and her defense team filed motions to have jail house calls removed from the trial's evidence and is asking that she allowed to go on house arrest until her trial begins in June.

Donna Adelson will go on trial for the murder of his ex son-in-law Dan Markel who was shot and killed in 2014 in a murder for hire plot. Dan Markel was married to Wendi Adelson, Donna's only daughter. Donna's other child, Charlie Adelson, is now in prison after her was tried and convicted of being involved in the murder for hire plot, too.

This is a true crime case out of Tallahassee, Florida where Donna now awaits her trial in the Leon County Jail.
