The Montalbera Winery was founded at the beginning of the 20th century in an area located in the townships of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. Montalbera’s property extends over 115 hectares cultivated with vineyards in the Monferrato and Langhe. Montalbera is the largest private producer of Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato.
