Ned Forney is a Seoul based writer, with a research focus on the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir and the Hungnam Evacuation. Ned lectures at schools, universities, non-governmental organisations, and military groups, and has been a consultant for NBC and PBS documentary series' on the Korean War. A Marine veteran himself, Ned is also the grandson of the late Colonel Edward H. Forney, the evacuation control officer during the Hungnam Evacuation.
