This is Part Two of Three of 'Do Not Disturb', the untold story of the murder of Sarah Gibson.

In the summer of 1972, 24-year-old homeless man David Frooms murdered Sarah Gibson, as she lay in her bed at the RAC Club at 89 Pall Mall, London, SW1. But why? How did he know her, why did he attack her, why did he climb five sets of stairs to find her room inside of a very secure club, and why did he subject her to a four-hour ordeal? Was it personal, revenge or a series of unfortunate circumstances?

On Saturday 16th August 1980, 42 year old convicted thief John Thompson had a petty dispute with a barman at an illegal nightclub at 18 Denmark Place (London). What began as a minor argument, soon escalated into one of Britain’s deadliest mass-murderers, and yet almost 40 years on, the story, the victims and even the perpetrator himself is almost entirely forgotten.
