Sofia Juarez

Sofia Juarez

In early 2003, 4-year-old Sofia Juarez disappeared from Kennewick in southeast Washington state, where she lived with her large extended family. Sofia was last seen by her mother just before she left the house one evening to go to the store with her grandmother's boyfriend. But Sofia never made it to the store or came back home. The first her family knew of her disappearance was when her grandmother's boyfriend arrived home without Sofia. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance of Sofia Juarez. Sofia's mother Maria believed that her daughter was heading out with her mother's boyfriend. The police began the investigation into Sofia's disappearance very quickly. They had to rule out a large number of family members. They also looked at a number of sex offenders who lived in the surrounding area. There have been some tips of eyewitness statements that have come out over the years but Sofia's case remains unsolved.
