Either way, you’ll be hearing from the man behind this brutal but absolutely gripping thriller which will either provide you with behind the scenes nuggets of gold from the film, or fire up your hunger for watching it. A real professional chat with the two, with much range - from how the two organised this before the film blew up, his doubts in the film after festivals initially slept on it, seeing the film with completely different eyes to the viewer, the importance of being in a physical location space for an actor, the scourge of the modern superhero film, how Calibre went down well with the US as it’s rougher than the polish they might expect, relationships with the crew and how a film is so much more than the individual, and the hive mind that can spring from this attitude. All round goodness. You’ll enjoy!
