JACK GUINNESS: The opposite of a boring life, accepting the word queer, and going to gay bars alone

Jack Guinness is the author of The Queer Bible and host of the Queerphoria podcast. After graduating from Cambridge Uni, Jack went in to modelling, featuring in campaigns for brands such as L'Oreal, Dunhill and D&G. In this episode we revisit Jack's challenging time at university, and how not being open about your sexuality in these earlier years can seriously impact your health and relationships. We discuss how some gay men don't particularly like the word queer; Jack's shift from pursuing opportunities based on fame and ego to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, and how Jack has always strived to have fun and take risks, as he admittedly never wanted a boring life.
