In this episode, Ben sits down with Hodinkee editors Mark Kauzlarich and Tony Traina. After a morning of previewing the New York watch auctions at Sotheby's and Phillips, the three chat about the state of the market and watch auctions before jumping into their thoughts on some of the watches they saw in New York. There's a  discussion of vintage Patek and Rolex – including the collection of one collector beloved by the community – but also other brands, indies, and even our favorite Richard Milles. At the end of it all, the trio pick their favorite watches that they saw, as well as the lots they'll be watching to get a gauge on the state of the auction market. Sotheby's Important Watches auction takes place on December 7, and Phillips New York Auction: Nine happens on December 9–10.
