What you need to know about inflation with Austan Goolsbee

Jessica Yellin talks to Austan Goolsbee to help you understand what’s causing today’s inflation, what role the stressed supply chain plays in driving it, and what if anything the government can do to fight it. Goolsbee explains there’s a debate among economists, and if the government picks the wrong side we could be in for a very long and bumpy ride. We’re just not sure which side is wrong!  
Goolsbee is a Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He served in the White House as a member of the Obama Cabinet, was the chief economist for the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board and the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
