Watching. Waiting. Listening : Episode 438

Joseph Scudder and his fiance, Yvonne Killian, had spent the day shopping for their wedding rings ahead of their wedding in The Bahamas. When home, Yvonne took a nap ahead of work that evening as Joseph headed out to work. Joseph returned home at 1 am. The front door was locked, so he went around to the back of the flat and peered through the back window which had been broken. His eyes were met with the haunting sight of his fiancé’s dead body on the sofa, an image he never could forget.

Just who could possibly have wanted to hurt Yvonne? And why?

Catching The Bus: Episode 136

Catching The Bus: Episode 136

This is an unusual episode of the UK True Crime Weekly Podcast, as I look at the story of Louis Gillies, from Glasgow, who faced the charge that on a day between May 20 and June 7, 2002, at Eastbourne, he aided, abetted, counselled or procured the suicide of Michael Gooden, contrary to the Suicide Act 1961. I look at the background to the charges and follow events through to their shocking conclusion.ReferenceFor this episode, I leaned heavily on this excellent article:https://www.scotsman.com/news-2-15012/caught-in-a-web-of-despair-1-1384954HelpWhatever you're going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. I have never, ever had that feeling. It was a feeling of power.
