Episode 9: The Axeman of New Orleans

Between 1911 and 1919, the city of New Orleans lived in fear of an axe-wielding murderer who attacked victims in their beds while they slept. In a letter written to the press, the Axeman offered the city a deal: play jazz all night long, and you would be spared. Who was the Axeman?
