TIMECOP. Sorry I'm getting ahead of myself. Basically we like the idea of doing a series of videos on movies that you didn't realise were based on comic books. And in the first of four weeks we're taking a look at peak JCVD (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Timecop. A movie about a man who's both time and cop determined to stop financial criminality across the centuries whilst not really bothering with the actual ramifications. Smallville did a hell of a job reinstablishing the origins of Clark Kent/Superman as well building it's own law that's become canon across other DC Universes including Superman in the DCU. Starting in 1993 and running for four seasons it achieved huge ratings over the majority of it's time before its eventual cancellation.
