“A swing state, per to Merriam-Webster’s definition, is ‘considered to play a key role in the outcome of presidential elections’. Meaning, candidates of either the Democratic or Republican parties, ‘have similar levels of support’.

Elections are determined through the electoral process instead of a popular vote. We will focus on several of the seven: Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina, or Georgia.
