From dating apps to real-life interactions, we’re unpacking the language we use around attraction and questioning where it really comes from. Are preferences just harmless personal tastes, or do they sometimes mask deep-rooted prejudice?

Micah B, Alex and rotating co-host Dupree are back at the table, and they’re joined by special guest Camron “NappiBoi” Torain for an honest and unfiltered discussion on how fatphobia, femphobia, colorism, and internalized bias show up in our community — and in ourselves.

Is “No Fats, No Fems” a preference or a red flag? What does it mean to decolonize desire? And are our so-called preferences keeping us from real connection?

We close the episode with a call for introspection and accountability, challenging ourselves and our listeners to unpack, unlearn, and move with more intention.
