Episode 9: Let's Talk Money with Mary-Ellen Fimbel

Mary-Ellen Fimbel is a teacher-of-all-trades who loves engaging with students in the classroom, the great outdoors, and online. She believes that learning should be accessible to everyone, and that people learn best when engaging with their own interests. She brings that philosophy to a wide range of subjects, from musical concepts to 3-D printing, and now financial coaching. Mary-Ellen and her husband have paid off all of their debt including student loans (yes, all of them), totaling more than $100,000. They’ve also cash flowed their way through $42,000 of wedding and medical expenses, proving that living debt free on a teacher’s income is absolutely possible. Mary-Ellen knows that personal finance is a confusing and sometimes scary world, but she’s passionate about coaching people towards the freedom and security that comes with financial stability.
