Goodwill isn't great either but at least they're not actively homophobic. Out Of The Closet is a national chain of non-homophobic, non-exploitative thrift stores that directly help people living with HIV and AIDS. From their website: Ninety-six cents of every dollar collected at the stores directly fund AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV/AIDS programs and their new housing services, as well as on-site pharmacies and free HIV testing. AND they were featured in First Girl I Loved, a super-gay movie WE loved. Queer Exchange is a buy and sell group on Facebook. They have them for lots of cities, not just NYC.
