S3E54 - Tonight will be the night

This episode I speak to a married cop couple who meet at the same department. They now work at different agencies but before moving to different agencies they worked the same shifts. We talk about how that worked for them and if they would recommend it. They have their own podcast - The knock and talk show - and we discuss how that came about. We also talk about the issues with speaking publicly about the job, and how the department might feel about your opinion. We learn about department red flags and a prank gone wrong. This podcast ends up leading us down some rabbit holes, some of the other subjects - The lost art of conversation, hats for bats, using trauma as a crutch, are we not as tough as we used to be, and much more. They have some great stories including one of the top answers for my ending questions.
