Spring Statement 2018: What does it mean for trustees and savers?

March 14, 2018: There were no new pension announcements in this year's Spring Statement. Instead, Chancellor Philip Hammond focused on debt and growth forecasts, emphasising that there was “light at the end of the tunnel”. Lynda Whitney, partner at Aon, and Hugh Nolan, president of the Society of Pension Professionals and director of consultancy Spence & Partners, discuss the statement, and what it means for pension trustees and savers.
