Preparing for internship application season with Callen Baxter

Welcome to Episode 10 of the 180DC Podcast! This episode marks the final episode for Season 1 of the podcast and what better way to finish it off than to have a former 180DC president and internship fanatic on. We brought back Callen Baxter who is due to start his consulting career in 2022 and completed multiple internships during his studies from law, to banking, strategy consulting and professional services.

In this episode, we spoke to Callen about his motive behind why so many internships on his CV, his tips and tricks behind the application process as well as how you can apply his personal learnings to your future applications. From starting off as a project consultant for 180DC in his early days of his JurisDoctor, to going on to be a representative member of the 180DC Global Leadership team and building out an extensive resume over the years, Callen brings insightful knowledge into what it means to go through internship hunting and the application process. To conclude, we had to finish with our final 'final reeling question' for this season where we asked Callen about his biggest interview fumble ever. Reflective of his humble personality, Callen shared his moments of failure but also combined this with his outgoing remarks on how to recover from scenarios that may cause you to freeze during your interview process.
