Holly Campbell was also in the race, running 31:44.67. Jack Rayner also ran a National Record of 27:09.57, breaking his own previous mark however falls short of the Olympic Qualifier time. The TEN Results   Andy Buchanan took out the Run For the Kids 14.4km Long Course in Melbourne in 42:28, with Liam Adams and Andre Waring following. Charlotte Wilson was the first female in 51:47, with Chei Ear and Madeleine Gwynne on the podium. Run For the Kids Results   Linden Hall took out the 1500m in 4:05.41 at Vic Milers Club clear of Melissa Duncan and Stella Radford, while Seth O’Donnell won the men’s race in 3:47.18 ahead of Liam Cashin and Zayd Al Sayd. Sarah Billings got the edge on Georgia Griffiths winning the 800m A race in 2:02.34 with American Brooke Feldmeier. Brad spends time on the bike as he continues to manage his hip injury. Brady hopes Carly’s iPad turns up after his last visit to the gym.   Australian team for World Cross Championships announced for Belgrade, Serbia held Saturday 30th March. The team notably will field full teams except for the Open Women’s Team which will only feature Paige Campbell and Melissa Duncan from winning the trials at Stromlo, as well as the fact that competing and representing Australia will come at the expense of the athlete. Other featured athletes will include Pat Tiernan, as well as trials winners Haftu Strintzos and Liam Adams. Adam Spencer for Wisconsin produced a kick to come second in the Mile in 4:01.92, just behind winner Luke Houser of Washington, while Hayley Kitching came 4th in the 800m in 2:02.16 representing Penn State. NCAA D1 Indoor Championships Results   Yuka Ando took out the Nagoya Women’s Marathon 2:21:18, Eloise Wellings pulled out after 30km, while Camille French of New Zealand was 9th 2:28:23. Rosie Weber was the top Australian in a personal best time of 2:38:47 for 21st. Japan Running News   Meanwhile, Ed Goddard won the adjacent Nagoya City Half Marathon in 1:03:49, with Natalie Rule winning in 1:13:57. Jesse Hunt joins the show, fresh from his 1500m performance at the Bankstown NSW Milers meet where he came second behind Cameron Myers and ahead of Jake Wightman just missing the Olympic Qualifier. Jesse talks about his time at the University of North Carolina and the presence of MJ, joining OAC Oceania under Craig Mottram and how his agency arrangement is handled, as well as what he studied at college and his interests outside of running. OAC Oceania made their presence known at Canberra Track Classic with Claudia Hollingsworth running 1:58.81 to win the 800m in an Olympic Qualifier, and breaking her own u20 National Record just ahead of teammate Bendere Oboya in 1:59.22 and Sarah Billings in 2:00.55. Payton Craig, who had recently signed with On Running, took out the 800m in 1:45.91 ahead of Luke Boyes and Jack Lunn. Connor Whitely won the Men’s 1500m in 3:40.09 ahead of James Hansen and Will Lewis, while Jodie McCann of Ireland won in 4:14.05 ahead of Jaylah Hancock Cameron and Rebekah Greene of New Zealand. Ed Trippas and Brielle Erbacher each won their respective 3000m Steeplechase races. Canberra Track Classic Results Jess Hull came 4th in 8:24.39 for an Oceania Record in the 3000m final of the World Indoor Athletics Championships held in Glasgow, with Elle St Pierre of the USA winning the gold medal in 8:20.87, ahead of Guduf Tsegay of Ethiopia and Beatrice Chepkoech running a Kenyan National Record. Josh Kerr of Scotland continued his rich vein of form winning the 3000m ahead of Yared Nuguse of USA and Selemon Barega of Ethiopia. Catriona Bisset placed 5th in her semi-final in a time of 2:00. Linden Hall ran a season best of 4:09.83 in the 1500m heats. World Indoor Athletics Championships Results https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFmW3ODgfhI  The National Cross Country Trials, held at Stromlo was taken out by Paige Campbell ahead of Lissy Duncan, who both secured a spot at the World Cross Country to be held in Belgrade, Serbia with Maudie Skyring in third place. Athletics Australia Report Benson Kipruto won the 2024 Tokyo Marathon in the 5th fastest all-time, winning in 2:02:16. Maurie Plant Meet Results   Henry Rono, legend of Kenyan distance running, has passed away aged 72. Rono was famous for setting four world records in four different events in the span of 81 days in 1978, during his time as a student athlete with Washington State University, but unfortunately never competed at the Olympics due to Kenya’s boycott of the 1976 and 1980 games. Let’s Run Article Aynadis Mebratu redeemed her third place performance at Maurie Plant with a win at the Run The Bridge 10K in Hobart, Tasmania ahead of Leanne Pompeani and Sarah Klein. Robin Hendrix was first across the line overall, also backing up from Thursday to take the win ahead of Brett Robinson and Logan Janetzki. Run The Bridge Results   Mo Katir accepted a 2 year ban from the Athletics Integrity Unit for whereabouts failures, consequently now barred from competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics and 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
